The Phoenix Mountains Preserve is at once an obstacle impeding travel between Central Phoenix and the Northern areas of the valley and an amazing feature which I doubt anyone would want removed or developed any more then it is. It's quite amazing to have dozens of miles of hiking and mountain biking trails, parks and a refuge from the busy city all in Central Phoenix.
The Preserve is surrounded by the Biltmore area to the South, Sunnyslope on the West, Paradise Valley on the East and North Phoenix at the North Foothills and from each there are trails meandering throughout the park, including the highest peak in the valley: Piestewa Peak.
Homes tend to graze each price range depending on the neighborhood and of course the view if the home is located on the upper foothills with a view.
