Margarita Place Historic Homes

Margarita Place is a smaller historic district amongst the 35 out there. Is located in the Encanto area with Thomas Rd., Windsor Ave, 15th Ave and 16th Ave as its borders. I also borders Encanto Park Golf Course and the venerable and ever pleasurable Encanto Park.

There are a total of 34 homes, though not all of them are in the historic register. 4 have pools. Just as the neighborhood the average size of the home is small at 1,577 square feet, but that was a decent size in those times. A few homes have double lots, but most homes tend to have a lot size of around 6,500 square feet.

This neighborhood was registered as historic in October 1999. It’s period of significance is 1927-1949.

The homes come in many architectural variations from the revival period. Many have been well kept up or restored while others await their turn.
