Heritage Heights is small hidden community in North Central Phoenix next to the Phoenix Mountains and at the foot of Squaw Peak. There are many such communities that don’t get the press, don’t get the hype and are not the top picks for people. 
That’s partially so, because people don’t know about them; even many agents don’t know about them. Heritage Heights is in one of those unique areas. Years ago before the I-51 freeway was built this passage better knows before as Dreamy Draw was difficult to get thru and almost completely secluded. The Freeway has opened it up to quick travel to downtown, Central Phoenix and to the North East valley as well. This improvement in communication has drawn many new people to the neighborhood and increased prices as well.
Heritage Heights is an organized neighborhood of several hundred homes, with a community center and an HOA. Its bordered by the Freeway, the Phoenix Mountains and 32nd St. The community streets are narrow, the front yards are small, this is not bad, and the homes close together but he back yards are larger and private. Homes are all single story and the type of ranch style built in the 70’s.
Since this is an older community the landscaping and greenery is lush and mature. Many homes are being remodeled and updated. You can buy a completely updated home or express your self, buy home to remodel and make it your own.
If you enjoy hiking and mountain biking, living in Heritage Heights is living right in the middle of the Preserve with several trail heads just a walk away and hiking in the Phoenix Monitions preserve down the trails like T100 and others is a real treat, an unbelievable place to except the city. In spring after a wet winter the mountains are covered with wild flowers, it’s a green paradise.
