The trip distance both ways from my house to Downtown Scottsdale: 41 miles, with some small detours. The destination was arbitrary. I figured Cartel Coffee was going to be open so I headed toward it from the North side of Mummy Mountain then down the streets near Scottsdale Road through places like the under ground parking and interior courtyard under Camelview Plaza where I saw  at least a dozen people being pulled by their dogs.

Scottsdale on a Sunday morning is pretty empty, but not completely. When I rode by The Breakfast Club all seats were full and it looked like a bunch of people were waiting for their turn at some morning grub. It must be good. Contemporary homes are few in Greater Phoenix and they tend to be in the upper price ranges. The most spectacular homes, of course, are in the million(s) plus range and they tend to be in Paradise Valley or Scottsdale.

There are however contemporary homes under a million as well in areas such a Sunnyslope and through out Central Phoenix, but in the lower price ranges it's the condos and townhouses that shine in places like Beadle lofts, Galleries at Turney or Mezzo lofts.

Because of the increasing use of public transportation this website has made a few additions to the Phoenix homes search ability.

Users are now able to view and search homes near the light rails stations or bus stop. These options are under the 'Community Features' section in the homes search along with other options.
