The sheer red sandstone cliffs of Camelback Mountain are a magnet for hikers throughout the year.  The Echo Canyon Park is amongst the most visited in the valley drawing in people to the two major trails: the Echo Canyon Trail and Cholla Trail each just over a mile but strenuous and exhausting, but with a worthwhile reward.

This beautiful and distinctive mountain is also a draw for home buyers who want to be next to this magical mountain that bursts in red color at sunset and cool blues in early dawn.  With views all around and a central location this has become a prime location for distinctive homes.

Except for the occasional home, most properties sit at the foothills of the 2,706 ft. elevated peak.  Even at the lower elevations the prominence is enough for spectacular view of the city.

Homes can range from the newer estates at $17,000,000 to older homes lower down for as little as half a million, but most tend to hover in the popular $1-$3 million dollar range depending on size, finish, location and age.

The custom homes of Camelback Mountain homes shows only properties at the foothills. You can view full photos and details of the homes including schools, what’s businesses and churches are near by including demographic for each property.

The custom map search is accessible to all users of the homes search at inPhoenix allowing you to create your own map specific page with auto email updates of new properties
