Thursday, September 15th, 2011 at 10:33am. 337 Views, 0 Comments.

all_things_considered_in_phoenix_720After a decent conversation with a doctor at Olive and Ivy a lady took his place. She spread out a book and put her dirty shoes up on the seat where the next person in the sunday's best will probably nicely clean the seat for the next person, only to realize his pants are dirty and wonder where it came from: the lady will be happy and satiated and learned after consuming her literature.

Find A Home In Central Phoenix

Sunday, August 21st, 2011 at 11:38am. 495 Views, 0 Comments.

Searching for homes in Phoenix can be difficult because many of the areas don't have defined names by which to search and subdivisions are often quirky in name which does not come up in searches. This is especially true for places where the common name is different from the actual subdivision names.

search_phoenix_homes_by_area_249The Willo historic district is a good example. The name Willo is almost like a marketing name, a name by which people know what is actually a collection of 22 individual subdivisions build over many decades.

The 'location search' on the Phoenix homes listings search page allows you to put in the name of a community or subdivision, zip code or city an mls number and get matching results, but if you put in a name that is shared by other communities then…

New Section inPhoenix - Central Phoenix Attached Properties For Sale

Monday, July 4th, 2011 at 9:50am. 243 Views, 0 Comments.

new_section_central_phoenix_condos_692A new section on the inPhoenix website makes it easier to view attached properties for sale in Central Phoenix.

These include, condos, lofts, patio-homes and town-houses. Often you'll see town-houses and patio-homes mixed up. It's not always easy to distinguish one from another.

The searches are featured on the front page for now, but will always be available through the Featured Areas section on the left hand side of the site.

This is just one of the convenient ways to view these properties. You can always do a full Phoenix condo search yourself by any criteria you choose and even use a free form map to search only in that area or view condos along the light rail in that section.

Contemporary Modern Architecture And Homes In Phoenix

Wednesday, June 8th, 2011 at 2:44pm. 514 Views, 0 Comments.

Contemporary homes are few in Greater Phoenix and they tend to be in the upper price ranges. The most spectacular homes, of course, are in the million(s) plus range and they tend to be in Paradise Valley or Scottsdale.modern_contemporary_interior_384

There are however contemporary homes under a million as well in areas such a Sunnyslope and through out Central Phoenix, but in the lower price ranges it's the condos and townhouses that shine in places like Beadle lofts, Galleries at Turney or Mezzo lofts.

Also a lot of the mid-century modern homes have been remodeled and look very modern contemporary. What's the difference between modern and modern or mid-century modern and modern contemporary?

The terminology can be confusing since modern is used for older stuf and for…

The Phoenix Metro Light Rail has created an opportunity for many to commute to work without a car.  The line runs some 21 miles with 28 light rail stops.homes_by_phoenix_light_rail_station_300

We've been getting a lot of requests for properties along the light rail, anything from condos to lofts, to homes and there are many choices indeed.

The route is well chosen and runs through residential and commercial communities, business and educational districts.

Residential neighborhoods include many Phoenix historic districts, high rises like Lexington One, Artisan Lofts, Chateau on Central and other properties.  These come in all prices and sizes.

Also there are many rental choices from small fourplexes to large apartment communities.

Because of this demand we created several ways…

Cycling in Maricopa County For Pleasure, Transportation and Business: Our Role As Realtors.

Wednesday, July 28th, 2010 at 11:03am. 513 Views, 0 Comments.

The Maricopa Association of Governments (MAG) has produced a video to promote cycling in which we had participated.cycling in maricopa county

The video features many Metro Phoenix-area cyclists, including mayors from several cities, local cyclist and some businesses including us. I got very excited about the project, especially because it promotes cycling. The presentation, I'm sure, will entice many on the fence to at least try out cycling if not take it up as a significant mode of transportation, maybe even to and from work.

The video is excellent and exceptionally well produced by Gary Stafford at Midnight Sun Films: visually appealing, exciting and informative and at times surprising.

We got to participate because cycling is part of our business as…

Size and Quality Matter: View Big Photos While Searching, But Only If Your Realtor Provided Superb Photos

Sunday, July 25th, 2010 at 1:55pm. 313 Views, 0 Comments.

This photo below is of a listing from the ARMLS that, like all listings, is viewable on this website, but what makes these photos special and this listing is the quality of the photography and the fact that you can hit the 'view larger images' on the property detail page and actually get truly wonderful larger photos.  I have to commend this agent for having such nice photos.

When viewed on inPhoenix.com they are shown is full glory of 1024 pixels wide and in high quality and there are 38 of them.  Lovely indeed.  I'm sure if a buyer will be interested in a home of this type they will be very persuaded to see this one just from the photos.
