Living Near The Phoenix Mountains
Saturday, October 23rd, 2010 at 9:47am. 662 Views, 0 Comments.
In the mornings on certain days you can see the air saturated with moisture rolling down the side of the mountains.
The air is usually crisp and for a desert refreshing. Those are rare days, but certainly memorable ones. It need not be one of those unique days to enjoy living near the Phoenix Mountains Preserve.
The Phoenix Mountains Park and Dreamy Draw within its midst is an amazing grouping of mountains and hill in the middle of Phoenix, a gateway into the diverse desert with fantastic views where one can get lost surrounded by nature and not a sound or view of the city.

The Preserve is surrounded by several distinct neighborhoods, namely: Paradise Valley, Biltmore area, Sunnyslope and the…
Central Park West | A Mid-Century Modern Condo Community
Wednesday, October 20th, 2010 at 10:20am. 1013 Views, 0 Comments.

Central Park West is a collection of individual condominiums in North Central Phoenix with an 16x20 atrium as the focal point, designed by architect Michael Defiel, the modern architecture has its roots in Roman antiquity and Spanish Patios providing both privacy, security: light and space: a tranquil space surrounded only by the living space and open to the clear sky as if a sanctuary.
The complex is a great surviving example of mid-century modern condo projects many of which were built in central Phoenix after the war and particularly in the 1960’s when the population of Phoenix was growing rather fast.
Many of the units now fit in well into contemporary living, especially the remodeled ones. They provide ample natural light through the…
The 15th Avenue Bridle Path in North Central Phoenix
Friday, September 24th, 2010 at 5:37am. 760 Views, 0 Comments.
You're probably familiar with the often travelled Murphy's Bridle Path running along Central Avenue in North Central Phoenix, but there is a shorter yet also unique bridle path along 15th Avenue.

photos: Artur Ciesielski
The path runs along the west end of 15th Avenue from north of Glendale to short just short of Northern right before reaching Royal Palm. I don't have much history about it. There are many huge horse properites on which horses prounce around on lush green grass. Over the years a few of these horse properties have been replaced by smaller subdivisions.
There is a lot of character here: huge mature eucalypust trees, olive trees and a sense of place that comes only with the passing of time. It's very unsual to be…

But, besides the coffee this stop is the main on off point for Central High, several historic neighborhoods and some businesses like the Slippery Pig Bike Shop. A few large lots await the next building boom.

The Art At The Station
"For Al Price, a local artist and former teacher, the goal of the artwork at the Campbell station was to provide a dynamic and engaging experience for students attending nearby high schools and to create a feeling of elegance timelessness for the neighborhood.

Another home sold, by inPhoenix Realty Partners in the Windsor Square Neighborhood.
This time we brought the buyers to this wonderful remodeled ranch home which was being sold as a short sale. The transaction was with another agent from Premier Marketing Group in which we both belong.
The short sale has some tense moments, but moved along at a normal short sale pace.
We're happy that our client was able to obtain a nice home for a great price in the venerable Windsor Square which, by the way, has amazing prospect for value appreciation in the coming years.

Before You Move To Or Buy Real Estate In Phoenix Arizona Read This: You May Change Your Mind
Friday, July 23rd, 2010 at 12:38pm. 402 Views, 0 Comments.
Like any city, Phoenix - Metro Phoenix - has its issues. We have politicians, builders and the public ignoring Water and Arizona's future. In fact, hardly anyone is talking about it let alone doing something about current and future water issues.
Sure we've got the low cost housing, the wide - now almost empty - freeways, the beautiful desert, a lush green city center, low cost of living and a laid back lifestyle. Those are fine for many people who don't need to participate in the daily chores of living, but if you've got to have a job, do business here or invest in Phoenix then you need to know what were facing and the Rogue Columnist by Jon Talon is taking it on, putting it in the forefront for those who want to know not only about the pretty…
Jefferson and Third Ave. Metro Light Rail Station In Focus

The Jefferson/Washington and 3rd St. Metro Light Rail platform takes you to the Chase Coliseum, The Civic Center, Phoenix Symphony Hall and major businesses in downtown Phoenix.
It's one of those few stations that makes one feel truly in a large city as most of the surrounding buildings are high-rises.
The Civic Center wall on the Washington Station heading toward the North has a collection of Bola Ties: The bola tie was designated the official neckware of Arizona in 1973. A bola is a type of necktie often made of a cord, braided leather with decorate metal tsp and an ornamental clasp and or slide.
