Before You Move To Or Buy Real Estate In Phoenix Arizona Read This: You May Change Your Mind

Like any city, Phoenix - Metro Phoenix - has its issues.  We have politicians, builders and the public ignoring Water and Arizona's future.  In fact, hardly anyone is talking about it let alone doing something about current and future water issues.

Sure we've got the low cost housing, the wide - now almost empty - freeways, the beautiful desert, a lush green city center, low cost of living and a laid back lifestyle.  Those are fine for many people who don't need to participate in the daily chores of living, but if you've got to have a job, do business here or invest in Phoenix then you need to know what were facing and the Rogue Columnist by Jon Talon is taking it on, putting it in the forefront for those who want to know not only about the pretty side and the hundreds of sunny days, but also the guts of the city: how it ticks, runs: its future and past and how the issues are being handles.

How about the whole SB 1070 Issue? It has driven thousands of people out of state, stopped many businesses from doing business with Arizona and some institutions have boycotted Arizona all together.

This surely will have some short term affects if the law does not go in to effect and major long term damage if it does. It does not matter what you opinion and stance on the law is, the effects are the same.

It's more of what type of issues are the Arizona politician taking on.  They, certainly, are not pursuing new businesses, nor higher educational standards, nor water issues, nor economic diversification.

What about the Phoenix Recovery Part One and Part Two? Is it coming at all?

I would highly recommend you read each and every article in the Phoenix 101 series which includes coverage of the universities, Indians, Cities, History, Master Planned Communities for which Phoenix is famous and water issues to name a few.

After reading these articles you may or may not want to continue to be here, but at least you'll be able to make a wiser decision and maybe even partake in making Phoenix different from what it is or where it's going.
